Some 20 or so years ago I made a pattern of the 2up 2down crankshaft from the photos in the Vintage Ford magazine article on the life of Ed Winfield .I then had a casting made and slowly over the next years had the crank ground and fitted up to a 26-7 block. When I came to getting the crank balanced I had to add some 700 grams to the super large counter weights on the crank!!
