Barens Institute of Technology, East Windsor, CT, from 7/2007 to 7/2008 Plan to take the Apprentice Electrician’s Test in June 2009. Work Experience: Apprentice: At CJS Mechanical, Bridgeport, CT, from 7/2007 to 1/2009 Guided by P&ID’s and fabrication drawings built ductwork for both commercial office space and retail space. Fabrication included mounting of instrumentation for controlling servo-driven dampers. In addition to pop-rivets and sheet metal screws, the fabrication included brazing copper plumbing, and thread-cutting of black-iron pipe. Used: step-shear, air-powered pop-riveter, aviation-shears, bending-break, brazing torch, conduit-bender, die-grinder, drills, electrical multi-meter, power-nibblers, thread-cutting dies, and thread-cutting taps.
