We do mill/turn work, mostly low volume and prototype style of work. We’ve had to turn down a lot of options because we don’t have the capability to do deep hole drilling. I’ve got an application right now where I need a .383 (+/-.005”) hole drilled thru 10-10.5” of ?” O.D. 304 sst. We considered getting ?” x .188” wall tubing but the material showed up with a .395-.400” ID. Our next thought was to go with ?” x ?” wall tubing, but we don’t have any tooling long enough to open up the ID from .250” to .383”. I’m looking for a couple of options, you could use tubing and open up ?” ID, or go from solid, which ever you would prefer. I’d like a quote for 30 pieces. We could send you the material or you could supply your own material and add that to the cost. Mat’l: 304 sst (tubing or rod) Length: 10.5” (+/-.125”) O.D.: ?” (stock) I.D.: .383” (+/-.005”) Qty: 10pcs, 30pcs, 50pcs, and 100pcs Please include lead time. Thank you for the help.
