For the last 5 1/2 years I have supported our troops with care packages, as a one person operation out of my apartment. Often times I get requests for certain and specific items, other than the usual non-perishable food, toiletries and magazines that I normally ship. There is a need for bungee cords for many reasons....holding gear on the troops themselves, and holding gear and equipment on the large vehicles used to move around the areas of operation. I raise money to cover the costs of all contents of the packages, including the boxes and tape, and the shipping. I am not a registered non-profit organization....just an American who respects our troops and is humbled by their sacrifice and want to support them any way I can.
