(这是一条买家关于"near infra-red LPF paint over Acrylic"的询盘信息，来自第108届中国广交会。)Inquiry Message (询盘信息) near infra-red LPF paint over Acrylic Dear Sir, Infra-Com is a technology company, which developed an indoor high bit rate IR light communication technology and system. Our system includes a transmitter and a receiver composed of several digital and analog chips and electro-optical components. The technology may be applied in a variety of applications. In order to approve the technology we implemented it in audio application. The technology is implemented now in the production line of several large companies in HK and China. We start selling low quantities and aiming at mass production quantities in 2009. For one of our customers in China we require a long pass optical filter in the form of a simple paint over an Acrylic (PMMA) sheet rather than an absorption filter made by injection molding. The filter should pass near IR light with high transmission and attenuate the visible light to a certain degree. The filter will be used in order to obscure (partially obscure) the electronic components of an electronic device to the eyes of an external observer (aesthetical reasons). It should pass the 870nm +/-50nm light signal of a LED transmitter operated behind the filter cover. Transmission should be as high as ~90% (external transmission). The longpass filter spectral distribution may not necessarily be an ""absolute"" near IR (i.e. totaly opaque) but it could be dark red or so just as to block (partialy block) the visual part of the spectrum. I need some detailed specification of such paint (spectral transmission, external transmission, temperature and humidity stability- ambient temp. of the electronic device where the filter is applied may be 60degC). Current application deemand for mass production is a filter colored plastic plate of 10X5cm in size. Plate thickness should be~ 1-3mm. As this filter is aimed at the Chinese market, mass production price must be low accordingly. You may either suggest only the paint itself or the end product (colored plastic sheet). We require few samples, as soon as possible. Following sample phase and upon customer approval we would require a large amount of the material for mass production.
