I work for US Marine Corps, MCB, Camp S D Butler, Okinawa, Japan, Facilities Engineer, Public Works Branch. 2. We were tasked to install fence, gates, automated vehicle gates and turnstiles around airfield at MCAS, Futenma, Okinawa, Japan for force protection. Please provide us a product catalog of your automated gates and turnstiles no later than 12Sep'08. Department of Defense installation experience is preferred but not absolute. If not, please direct us to a reputable company. 3. Minimum Requirements for Automated Gates and Turnstile: a. Gate can be opened by a remote switch at least 1.5 km away, has field override switch, and can be physically opened without power. b. Provide emergency alarm in case a marine is pinned against the automated gates which can cause fatality or serious injury and for unauthorized entry/manual override. c. Provide safety lighting/motion sensor lighting for automated gates and turntiles. d. Provide a reprogrammable swipe cards for authorized entry. 4. Thank you very much for your prompt response.
