I have been asked to lead a project to install advanced controls on the steam valves to process flares in our seven oil refineries. I was wondering if your company has done this as part of the flare installations. We plan to install analyzers on the Flare Gas line and have that set the steam control valve based on composition of the gas. We then were exploring the idea of using an IR camera to trim the steam valve based on flame temperature to ensure 98% destruction of flare gases. I wasn't sure whom to contact to discuss this.
