Dear Sir/Ma, Submission for pre qualification is invited from suitable individuals or reputable companies to identify as joint venture partners with Chevron Nigeria Limited as contractors, to tender in respect of the work packages as summarized below. INTRODUCTION / SCOPE OF WORK. Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), on behalf of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) / Chevron Nigeria Limited joint venture, invites interested companies to pre-qualify for consideration in tendering for the following drilling and completion services which will be carried out in respect of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation / Chevron Nigeria Limited 208-2012 oil and gas wells drilling, completion and work over campaigns for offshore, swamp and land operations in Nigeria . This tender is in support of drilling completing and working over the vertical, deviated and horizontal exploratory and or development wells. Availability to commence provision of this service within the following work / service requirements section. WORK / SERVICE RECRUITMENT AND ANTICIPATED COMMENCEMENT DATE. The scope of work for the services is as follows Gas lifts service for the 2nd quarter of 2009. Contractor shall provide gas lift equipment and services. Contractor shall provide gas lift engineering support personnel in Lagos State , Nigeria , available for daily consultation with the company's Drilling completion staff and logistical coordination for required materials. Gas lift equipment shall include mandreis and Gas lift valves being capable for installing and deviated or horizontal wells with casing / liner sizes of 9 5/8"" through 5"" and tubing sizes from 2- 3/8"" to 4-1/2"". Contractor will supply a quality plan outlining procedures to enable that the company receives equipment that have been properly prepared for utilization. Dedicated QA personnel will be supplied by the contractor to enable rigorous adherence to the contractor's quality plan. Quality plan will be defined and shop equipment required to make- up and test completion equipment prior to shipment off shore. NIGERIAN CONTENT. 1. Provide exert description of place to domicile engineering and project management activities and procurement centers in Nigeria with physical address not P.O BOX. 2. Ability and manner in which, internal codes and standards in the industry will be harmonized to support locally manufactured products. 3. Any further innovative proposals that would enhance the Nigerian content on this project. 4. Provide company health and safety policy including emergency contingent plan, medical and security evacuation plan and safety performance records indicating fatalities, lost time incident rate and total recordable incident rate within the last three years. 5. Contractors drug and alcohol policy. 6. Company profile. 7. Financial detailed audited accounts for the last three (3) years and evidence of financial backing or recommendation from financial institute. 8. Show evidence of payment of taxes for the last three (3) years. 9. Show evidence of company registration with NIPEX NJQS and payment of registration fees. 10. Show evidence of current registration with Nigerian Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), specific to Gas lift services. 11. Any further innovative proposal that would enhance the Nigerian content on this project. 12. Plan to implement and fully comply with the Federal Government of Nigerian's NIGERIAN CONTENT directives of October 13th 2006, to target achieving seventy percent (70%) by 2010 through a quantifiable percentage (%) plan over the next three (3) years. Demonstrate that the entity is a Nigerian registered company (Chevron Nigeria Limited), and if this is not the case, the individual or company should be in genuine alliance or joint venture with a Nigerian company (Chevron Nigeria Limited) with details of scope and responsibilities for this work, in such a case, an evidence of joint venture agreement or memorandum of understanding duly signed by the CEO of both companies including evidence of plans of physical operational presence and set up in Nigeria. The foreign company wishing to pre-qualify must identify with their local affiliates / partners (Chevron Nigeria Limited), and indicate the scope of work as defined in their joint venture agreement and also define e.g. financiers. Response to this invitation, should be marked or ""SUBJECT TITLED"" NOTICE OF INTENT TO PRE-QUALIFY FOR THE PROVISION OF GAS LIFT SERVICES IN JOINT VENTURE WITH CHEVRON NIGERIA LIMITED.
