We are looking for durable, non-flammable fabrics that breathe well, won’t wrinkle, can be machine washed, is relatively stain resistant and has some stretch. In the chef coat market most of the fabrics are poly / cotton 7 oz or higher and are very stiff and “work wear” like. I am looking for something durable and easy to work with in terms of manufacturing. We want to create a line of elegant, wearable, breathable and stylish chef coats. My fabric needs are small to being with – I need fabric that is stock that I can create samples with and then for small production runs. The long-term could be very exciting.
