Current pump - A stainless steel pump, 1.5 H.P., TDH 28 feet, 3/4 inch discharge, 1.0 inch suction, 15 GPM. - It delivers sulfuric acid at 98% concentration to five chemical processing tanks. - The quantity of acid delivered varies from 5 to 700 liters per tank, per batch. Batch controller The chemical process operator should be able to carry out the following actions, all at the batch controller. 1 – Selects one tank among five, opens the tank solenoid valve 2 – Selects the amount of sulfuric acid (litters, gallons…..etc.) 3 – Starts the pump. 4 – Once the sulfuric acid selected quantity is delivered, the batch controller should stop the pump and close the solenoid valve.
