The material needs to: ?breathe to allow drying as items will go in the covers wet ?have some component of stretch to allow for close fit and variety of equipment sizes. ?be thick enough to offer some dent protection ?dry readily ?colors need to be blues, grays and blacks (or combinations of the same) ?lay flat for pattern cutting Some of the materials we have looked at are French Terrycloth and Acrylic Marine Upholstery.
