Dear Sir, We are in market for following material for Dynamic Braking application in Diesel Locos. Our requirement is large. Please send your quotation on CIF Bombay basis along with your terms and conditions. Please let us know if you have got any agent in India, so please send the address of Indian agent to us. We are interested in importing 50 tones the material (aluminum chromium steel alloy) sizes - (a) 1.118 Thickness X 83.8 width Aluminum Chromium steel alloy with the following - 1. Chemical Compositions - Carbon - 0.13% Silicon - 0.5 to 0.9% Chromium - 12 to 14% Manganese - 0.5 to 1% max. Aluminum - 3.9 to 4.8% Sulphur - 0.05 % max. Nickel - 0.6% max. Phosphorous - 0.05% max. 2. Mechanical Properties - Tensile Strength - 620 N/mm sq. maximum Yield stress - 460 M/mm sq. maximum. Elongation on 50.8 mm - 20 % minimum Gauge length 3. Electrical Properties - Resistivity - 125 micro-ohms cm at 20 oC 4. The melting point of the grid material shall not be less then 1350 deg. C.
