We mfg and sell 100,000 (and growing)rack cabinets (approx 7ft high, 2ft wide, 3ft deep....) a year. I've recently been hired for process improvements and cost reductions. Today we are applying plastic bags, and shrink wrap and cardboard corners etc etc and still not doing a good/total job in packaging for protection during storage and shipment..... I believe a bubble bag, could give all round protection from dust, some damage protection, while if the forks of a fork lift truck come at it, packaging will not prevent damage AND be much more cost effoective in labour hours to put on and take off. My design counterparts are located in St Louis in the States and are happy if I can drive cost and packaging protection improvements.........
