Many times we rough out 50 to 70% of the steel on a mill before hardening. Some of the shapes would allow wire edm and we wondered if there is such a thing as EDM roughing that wouldn't be extremely expensive. If so, could you give me a speed per sq in and a price (or however you describe your speed and prices).
