By any chance do you have or know of any supplier or any end user/manufacturer that would have Kovar tubing in stock ready to sell. Kovar in itself is relatively easy to find, but the specifications that we need are not exactly “off-the-shelf”. I was thinking that maybe you might know somebody somewhere that might be using it or might have used it in the past. We can get the tubing made to our specs easily enough, but the problem is we need some now. Having it made will take 6 to 7 weeks. I don’t care where in the world I have to buy it if I can get it now. It is mostly used in annealing glass to metal applications such as spark gap tubes or vacuum tubes. Reference Material: Kovar, reference ASTM F-15 Outside Diameter: Anywhere in the 0.050"" to 0.125"". We'd like around 0.075"" Wall Thickness: anything around 0.010"" Temper: Fully annealed Length/amount: 6"" pieces & at least 25 to 50 feet. I will consider solid rod that could be machined.
