Joints 3/4"" and smaller may be screwed using X-Pando pipe joint compound. Threaded joints shall be seal welded wherever possible. 2-INCH AND LARGER: JOINTS Butt welded and flanged. FITTINGS Butt welded standard weight seamless steel ANSI B16.9, ASTM A420 Grade WPL 6. Forged steel flanges - ANSI B16.5, ASTM A350 Grade LF2, 300 lb.
