Dear Sir or Ms. Please allow me to introduce you myself and this wonderful 100% natural gentle to the human and earth totally ecological interior wall covering product called “SHIFU”. “SHIFU” means “Cloth by Paper”. Paper means Japanese traditional very high fibered “WASHI” paper. The craftsman cut this “WASHI” into thin strings and weaves them into “SHIFU”. It has been manufactured only in my hometown of “SHIMIZU” area in Japan since 400 years ago and it was a gift to the royal family in Japan since the ancient age. ‘SHIFU” has a strong tension as a “Paper” and very gentle texture as “Cloth” and it gives very soothing feeling to human if it is used as an interior wall covering/Wall Paper. It is great products to be used for Residential Interior or Commercial Interior such as Hotels, Restaurants, Offices and more. It has very strong ability to absorb moisture, and has very strong Breathability, so that it is called “Self Breathing material”. It decomposes by itself underground after discarded. We even use all natural glue to paste it on to wall. It is totally safe and ecological material, so that it won’t produce any harmful Gas or Fume when it is burned. If you see similar products on market, most of them are made in China or Korea which they mostly use water based dye to color their products, so the color fades way very easily; however our products are 100% made in Japan and uses Oil based dye that used for “KIMONO”, so the it sustains it’s original color for a long time.
