In that regards we would like to introduce ourselves that we are a medium range engineering company in Bangladesh dealing port equipment, railway equipments and others as a local agent of Fantuzzi S.p.A-Italy, Noell-China & Germany, Kessler International-USA. In Bangladesh Railway we are working since 1981 and we are the regular supplier of different locomotive engine spares. Currently we find a project in Bangladesh Railway that they will procure 11 Nos. MG Diesel Electric Locomotive Engine. This project will be finance by the Japan Bank for International Co-operation. Procurement process will be through international tender. JBIC is preparing the technical specification by their own consultant and tender will be floated very shortly. If your company is interested to participate in this tender please let us know. Accordingly we will provide you the tender details. Please also be noticed that Bangladesh Railway has only 134 units MG locomotives in their fleet at this stage. Among them about 56% became very old and all of them service life already been expired. But Bangladesh Railway has no enough funds to replace them. In this situation Bangladesh railway is seriously looking for an international funding partner who will come forward to assist with providing grant /credit /mixed / credit / concessionary credit as long term basis. In this regards we would like to request you to check in your end if is possible to arrange any grant /loan for the MG Diesel Electric Locomotive engine for our Bangladesh Railway. It will be a big business for you and will be a big help for our Bangladesh Railway. Loan borrowers will be Ministry of Finance, Bangladesh Government. For your reference, JBIC is providing loan for (11 units’ locomotive) 30 years repayment process with 1st 10 years grace period and interest rate is 01% per annum.
