It will be used as the output port of an implant. This connector will be mounted on an existing frame which is already implanted inside the body; so it will not touch any tissue besides skin. The frame has a part which stands out of the skin a little bit- where I will attach the connector. I have the capability to sterilize it before surgery. For that purpose, I am looking for the shortest connector possible (so it will not stand out of the body too much) with as little weight as possible. 50 wires which originate from the implant will be attach to the connector . I would rather the outside part to have female connector, and the inside part to have either wires I can bond to, solder joints or any other way to connect my wires to the connector.
