However they are not intended to be exclusive or restrictive or to inhibit the development of new design 1.2. Wheelchairs (preferably of the non-folding type and capable of being self propelled) With a rigid seat, high backrest, detachable armrests, adjustable leg-rests, Movable footrests and an adequate brake. (ECAC DOC 30 annex K, point 1.3. A)) 1.3. The wheelchairs must be made in full conformity with the following European guidelines (including the latest changes) and with the national laws on which these guidelines are based: 1.3.1. ECAC DOC 30 Part I Section V ( Dec 2006) annex K; 1.3.2. MDD 93/42/EWG (medical product); 1.3.3. The following harmonized European standards are maintained (DIN) EN 121872, (DIN) EN 12183. 2. Based on these requirements we have created technical requirements: 2.1. Quantity: 11 2.2. Total width: ~ 56 cm; 2.3. Seat width: ~ 40 cm; 2.4. Total height: ~ 90 cm; 2.5. Depth seat: ~ 40 cm; 2.6. Height back: Circa 50 cm; 2.7. User weight: 120 kg; 2.8. Non foldable type; 2.9. Ergonomic push grips circa 105 cm height; 2.10. Aluminium rear wheels size 24 x 1 3/8 with drum brakes and aluminium rims; 2.11. Solid front and rear tires; 2.12. Plastic front forks with 8' front wheels; 2.13. Pre-shaped seat and back cushion; 2.14. Seat and back cushion have to be fixed to the frame; 2.15. Flip back and detachable armrests; 2.16. Detachable height elevating leg rests with aluminium footplates and rubber wall Protectors; 2.17. Anti-theft bar with locking key; 2.18. Push bar with ergonomic push grips and brake handles; 2.19. Waist seat belt (adjustable); 2.20. Warranty period 24 months (for the frame 5 years); 2.20. Instruction manual in English (wheelchair maintenance, storage, inspection). 3. One wheelchair, widened version: 3.1. Quantity: 1 3.2. Seat width: 70-75cm; 3.3. User weight: 200 kg (max); 3.4. Feet rests in on piece, but detachable for transfers; 3.5. Aluminium rear wheels size 24 x 1 3/8 with drum brakes and aluminium rims; 3.6. Solid front and rear tires; 3.7. Plastic front forks with 8' front wheels; 3.8. Pre-shaped seat and back cushion; 3.9.
