The supplier must send the shape meter charts for all coils Note: Guarantee material with light center buckle and without edge wave in one side. 6.3- Cold crown 0,020mm maximum Note: For the Hot Rolled Coils, the maximum value of peak (high spot) acceptable is 0,005mm. 7- SURFACE REQUIREMENTS 7.1-Surface Quality The steel strip shall be free from injurious defects such as: corrosion, holes, roll marks, slivers, rolled in scale, laminations, scratches, neither any other defect that affects the process and/or change the appearance of the final product. 7.2-Superficial roughness 0,4 a 0,80 m mRa to thickness 0,60 mm or lower 0,7 to 1,20 m mRa to thickness 0,61 mm or higher. 7.3-Surface protection Apply oil on both strip sides, residual, easy to remove during material processing. Note: The physical chemistry characteristics of the oil should be informed previously by the supplier. 7.4-Surface cleanliness The maximum amount of cold rolling residue ( oil + iron fines) must be 200mg/m2 per side. The coils must be supplied with mill edges, free from injurious defects such as: handling damage, tears, folds, saw edge and others edge defects that can injure the final width and the material processing on Continuous Lines. 9.0- METALLURGICAL PARAMETERS AND PROCESS 9.1-Hot Rolling Temperatures Finishing delivery temperature 910o / 950 °C Coiling temperature 640o / 680 °C 9.2-Cold reduction Must be over 60%. 9.3- Cleanliness Nonmetallic inclusions: level one according to ASTM E45 thin series. 10-COILS CONDITIONS 10.1-Inside diameter 508 +/- 10mm 10.2-Tension coiling Should be appropriated to avoid collapse and elbow in the eye of the coil. 10.3-Telescopicity 10 mm maximum. Loose wraps and protruding are not acceptable. 10.4-Coil weight (aiming the maximum weight) 21 to 25t 11-PACKING Suitable to hold up shipping and handling and protection against oxidation of the material.
