The preferred specifications for the sourced charcoal are as follow: LUMP CHARCOAL TECHNICAL DATAS: 100% natural hardwood charcoal Totally organic wood (pesticide, fillers, petroleum additives and preservatives free) Free from charcoal residues, ashes and strange matters. Free from other residue of sawmill woods. Moisture Contents % 5% to 8% Ash Contents % 3% to 5% Volatile Matters % 17% to 22% Fixed Carbon Contents % Minimum 70% - There are two types of charcoal grading that we are already using: A) LUMP CHARCOAL SUITABLE FOR RESTAURANTS & RELATED INDUSTRIES Granulometry 50 to 150 mm (Diameter) Particle Size Distribution % Large (120 to 150 mm ): Min 20% Medium (80 to 120 mm ): Min 55% Small ( 50 to 80 mm ): Max 20 % Chips/Fines/Dust (less than 50 mm ): Max 5% PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS – Please see attached photos for bags reference PACK 1 15 Kg White – 2 ply bags (1 Polypropylene bag and 1 protective, moisture proof Polyethylene bag lining).
