I am requesting a quotation for (Ni/Ag electro-plate through resist on 200mm wafers with a Ti seed layer), which will require a special effort in price and cycle time commitment. Additional details: the openings through the resist will be 50um square and the layer thicknesses are as follows: Ti = 200A (seed layer already present on the wafer) Ni = 500A Ag = 2.0um The top of the Ag layer needs to be highly reflective. Can you provide a budgetary estimate (per wafer cost) for plating the Ni/Ag? In addition, if you have the capability to strip the resist and etch the Ti seed layer, can you provide the cost in the quote as well? Here are additional elements I need you to include on quotation: -Set up cost (NRE), if any, to plate Ni and Ag -Per wafer cost for development phase (to dial-in process to our spec) -Cycle time for process set up and processing wafers -Per wafer cost in the 10 to 100 wafers/month range I look forward to the opportunity to work with you on this and future projects.
