Architectural and Light Structural Metals – Steel, Structural Aluminum, Sheet Metal My previous employment was with IronFire Design & Fabrication, Designing-Drafting Custom Light Structural Steel and other Architectural Metal projects using AutoCAD 2009 in a Manufacturing environment producing shop & field drawings, parts lists, BOMs, providing technical production assistance & problem solving. Goldfinch Bros Inc. AutoCAD Technician drawing commercial glazed products. With Crystalite Inc. as one of their Engineering dept Design/Drafters, Designing/Drafting Custom Structural Slope Glazed systems in a manufacturing environment. This was architectural and mechanical, part/assembly and detail drawing in 2 & 3D wireframe. Many of my projects began in the early concept/design stage, progressed through the approval processes, engineering as required for specific projects, to final field and shop drawings. Common projects were ridges, hip-ridges, pyramids, hip & valleys, dormers, barrel vaults, sunrooms & skywalls. I am very familiar with manufacturing-fabrication-shop practices, architectural details and construction. Behind my drafting experience, I have a strong background in Custom Metal Fabrication, Lay-out & Welding in a manufacturing environment 14+ years. I can provide resume and letters of recommendation from the PM, shop & field Superintendent of IronFire Design & Fabrication, and the President of Crystalite Inc., with whom I worked for nearly 20 years.
