The current supplier uses an 850 ton press and the mold is a little longer than 48”. All I can say at this time about the process is that our foil is placed in the mold, the top comes down and the rubber is in a cavity at the top of the mold which is then pressed down through the gates, the overmold rubber is EPDM. Is this something you have the capacity to handle and would be of interest to your company? The bare foil is 24” long and the overmolded length is 25-1/2” long.
