The disposable has a fused quartz tube lens and the design requires blocking UVA. The consideration is to coat the OD, tube dim. 15mm OD X 12.7mm ID X 80mm L. The coating will be exposed to 254nm @ 10mw/cm sq. for 1 hour and then discarded. We can tolerate some UVA exposure. Being a disposable comes with cost issues, which we hope can be manageable.
